Welcome to insanity! I hope you will enjoy it here. This blog contains my writings (fantasy, mostly, though I hope to include more genres one day), and will eventually be filled with NaNoWriMo craziness, information about my characters, story excerpts, and posts about my fictional world.
God bless! :) Don't forget to leave a comment, and feel free to ask questions!

NaNoWriMo Insanity 10/31

Me: NaNo's almost here, NaNo's almost here~

Syleh: She's been like this for nearly an hour now.

Me: *continues singing*

Aeron: Meh. I don't show up for a while anyway. I'm not gonna bother getting excited.

Me: *pauses singing* Didn't I tell you that you get to show up before the end of the book after all?

Aeron: *dances*

Syleh: O.o

Aeron: *stops dancing and looks around* Umm...

Syleh: O.o

Me: NaNo's almost here, NaNo's almost here~

Syleh: Kill me now...

Aeron: Please tell me you aren't serious. I'd love to help you, but I don't want to see what our author would do to us if, less than three hours before NaNoWriMo, I killed off the MC of her story, forcing her to come up with another plot.

Me: Oh, I have other plots I could use if I had to, but you do not want to see what I will put you through if you make me have to use one of those. I've been planning this story for months.

Syleh: No. I wasn't serious. By the gods, do you not understand sarcasm...

Aeron: I think she's starting to sound like you, Ashley. Minus the references to those gods of hers, of course.

Me: I do not appreciate either of those comments.

Syleh: *shakes head* This shall be interesting...

Me: NaNo's almost here, NaNo's almost here~

NaNoWriMo Insanity 10/30

Me: Blank, how do you like the name "Adeneir"? Or "Adoneir". Or "Ademeir". Or "Adomeir".

Blank: I like the "Ade--" ones, I guess...

Me: It could be shortened to Aden. Or Adem, depending one which one I use.

Blank: Um, no.

Me: Aeron?

Blank: Any reason why these are all similar? But yeah, that one's closer... sounds kinda more like a good guy though.

Me: Well your parents wouldn't really expect you to be a bad guy when they named you, would they?

Aeron: True. I think I kinda like this name. Maybe. Wait... why is it in place of "Blank" now?! I never said I'd take it for sure!

Me: Yeah, but I've decided that's your name unless I just come up with something better out of the blue. Which won't happen, because I can't even come up with names when I'm trying.

Aeron: But what about that old guy's son? Wouldn't this fit him better?

Me: Meh. I'll worry about him later.

NaNoWriMo Insanity 10/22

Since it's 11 PM on a Friday night and I really don't feel like going to sleep, you get to meet my NaNo2010 charries. *grin*

Syleh: Um, hi.

Blank: You just HAD to bring me here... couldn't even name me first. Shove me out here like I'm worthless.

Me: Why is it you seem to think not having a name makes you insignificant?

Blank: How long does it take to stick a name on a person!?!

Syleh: You're asking the wrong person... she can't name things for her life.

Me: Oh, I see how it is.

Syleh: You said it first.

Me: You two are terribly out of character.

Syleh: You want us to start fighting instead?

Blank: Oh come now, you couldn't possibly kill me.

Me: Daeryl, don't provoke her.

Blank: Who?

Me: You, for the time being.

Daeryl: Come on, that's lame!

Me: It's better than "Blank", isn't it?

Daeryl: *sigh* Fine...

Me: I don't like it either, but guess what, you're stuck with it for now.
Aaaand I think it's time to go now.

Syleh: But we just got here!

Me: Yeah, but I'm getting tired.

Syleh: Fiiiiine... >_>

NaNoWriMo 2010

Yeah! Anyone else excited? :D

If you want to add me as a writing buddy, my NaNo profile can be found HERE.

What am I writing about? Well I'm glad you asked :P

"Syleh's father was part of an organization --for which I have not come up with a purpose or motive-- as an assassin. He has trained her since she was young, since she was his only child and her mother had died years ago. She never knew the purpose of the training until one day her father left and never came back. In her search for his supposed killer, she finds out what has been happening right under her nose her whole life, and is faced with the choice to continue her father's work --against her better judgement-- or refuse and risk the anger of the entire organization as it falls apart. Not to mention she has to deal with the rather nightmarish dreams that she has along the way."

Interesting, no? Well, hopefully anyway.
I'll post character profiles for Syleh and the antagonist (for whom I have no name yet >.>) today, hopefully. And then the insanity begins x)
